"Jambon"?? a working title for a painting I can't stop changing. This is the latest edition of the work. I now think it is more unified and flows better. The process of loosing the realism and changing to a contemporary color palette has been struggle for me,but I've learned so much about color and letting the painting lead me.

Acrylic mixed media 30x30 in.

I just had to juice up the color on this painting and I hope I'm finally finished so it stops appearing on the blog, yet I hope the journey has given readers some incite into my process.

I've been working on finishing more 6x6 to 12x12 in the wine themed paintings for this summers art festivals and group shows over the last 2 weeks.
The first group show is this Sunday and is Buffalo Grass Society's 40th annual sale.
It is for 1 to 5 at the Mountain Park Club house in Lake Oswego. Please see my events page for more details.
