Silverton Fine Arts Festival
Location: SIlverton's shady Coolidge–McClaine Park

The tenth annual Silverton Fine Arts Festival is set for August 21–22 in Silverton's shady Coolidge–McClaine Park at the intersection of Coolidge and Charles Streets. The artist and food booths are open Saturday, 10am–7pm, and Sunday, 10am–6pm. Complementary shuttle service and free parking are available at the Robert Frost School parking lot at 301 Westfield and The Oregon Garden at 879 W. Main Street. Admission to the festival is free. The family-friendly days feature two entertainment stages, an international food court, a wine and beer garden, and arts activities.
The Fine Arts Festival’s successes support, to a large extent, the various educational programs of the Silverton Arts Center. Your interest and attendance in our festival, and the participation of the artists whose high quality creations you purchase and enjoy, are an integral financial resource for those programs.
We invite you and your family to become participants in this festival. Enjoy the cool environs of our park, visit with the artists, partake of the fine performances at our entertainment stages, experience the variety of flavors at our international food court, refresh yourself at our wine and beer garden, and, perhaps, wake up your artistic flair at our hands-on art activities. Art in the High Desert is on the banks of the Deschutes River, in the The Old Mill District. Bend, Oregon. Festival Site. Bend sits just east of Oregon’s Cascade is a neighbor to the Deschutes, Metolius, and Crooked Rivers. Numerous lakes, streams, mountains, and golf courses, provide an outdoor recreation haven for visitors and residents of Central Oregon.

The Festival of the Arts, celebrating its 46th year in 2009, is a major regional arts event, presenting the creative endeavors of recognized and emerging artists from all disciplines of the art world. The Festival enjoys an outstanding reputation for bringing special exhibits of quality and diversity to the weekend that are accessible to everyone. It is traditionally held at the end of June of each year and attracts 22-25,000 people.
